081130 Northampton ...two days later ...
Ed and I walked in to Northampton again today. I wanted to see what difference two days would make. Except for the tent area and Lake Ewell I think the drainage system is working fine. The most impressive picture is the water at the westend of the runway ending at the westend drain and not reaching the runway.
081128 Northampton Model Flying Field
Ed Wingate and I walked in to the field today to see how the drainage was working. It's working... there are a few puddles around but not bad considering the rain and snow we have had lately. A vehicle was on the runway and left some tire marks so we may have some repair to do in the spring. Most of the damage is in the K runway...they only crossed the main runway. Looks like they may have been attempting to get the the scout area.

080601 Plowing at Hasman
Matt used his new to him tractor, plow and drag to prepare Norm Hasman's garden today. He did a nice job. The equipment worked great.
080326 Pictures from Bolling
These were taken yesterday Wednesday morning at Bolling. A bunch of us were there to get the tractors and the freezer and to put things that we want to take off the property into the container. The work was done within an hour.....but as you can see from the pictures it took us an hour and a half to get off the property.

071221 Flying at Hasman 12-21-07 The P51 belongs to Jim Bloechl a new member this year. He added skis to the plane and flew it for the first time at Hasman off of snow. Trevor did the first take off and landing Jim did all others. The plane flew great. Other pictures are Jim and Dick Foster and Bob White worked on getting the snow off the roof, Jerry was preparing to show his latest prop cut, Trevor with Tom Forsyth's new electric and Craig Donaldson waiting for his batteries to charge . Snow was great as was the flying.

Colorado Birdfeeder
The contents of that jar is a closely guarded secret that only Colorado residents know about.
Something about White Lightnin' and corn, or something like that perhaps?
Wasn't it Bob Denver who wrote "Rocky Mountain High?"
Well, now you know what it actually is - the "High" I mean. ... Dee
